Background & Training

I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University. I specialize in trauma-informed therapy for adolescents and adults navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused therapy, Attachment-Based work, Psychodynamic therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy — drawing on whichever combination fits each client's needs. I works with clients ages 16 and up, helping them build the safety and regulation skills to process difficult experiences at a sustainable pace, understand how past patterns shape present relationships and self-talk, and move forward with self-awareness they've built for themselves.

My Approach

From the start, I approach your experience with acceptance, compassion, and curiosity. Before going deeper, we make sure you have the safety and regulation skills to explore, working step by step within what feels manageable for you. I draw on approaches like trauma-informed, attachment-based, and DBT work, letting your needs guide how those come together. I'll hold the harder parts with you rather than rush past them. My goal is to help you feel seen, understand how your past shapes your present, and process what you're carrying, physically and emotionally, so you can move forward on your own terms.

Who I Work With

  • Anyone carrying the weight of trauma, whether from a single event, an ongoing experience, or something that built up over time

  • People navigating a major life transition, a highly stressful season, or coping with loss and grief

  • Anyone who feels stuck in old patterns, in relationships, self-talk, or day-to-day life, and is ready to understand where they come from and change them.

  • People who want to feel truly seen before diving into "fixing" anything
